(English writing below)
.....................
When I was a little girl, I used to think that my dad is the most handsome man , my mum the most beautiful woman, and that both of them were invincible. With them around, no problem is too big to solve.
One day, I turned back to find them no longer looking as heroic. All I saw was their greed, hatred, ignorance, jealousy, arrogance and suspicion, as well as the huge pile of karmic debts.
The more adept I am at reading a person, the more worried I get looking at them. What should I do? Is there still time for me, for them?
I know their past, and as I see more of their future, the more I feel unsettled.
It is very difficult to speak the Dharma to them. Really very difficult. An outsider can change his or her ways because of my words. However, In front of my parents, I am often loss for words.
The sense of helplessness, despite my capabilities, is heart wrenching and coupled with the pain of loss at the passing away of family members infused me with inspirations.
I cannot just think of my own parents, there are other people’s parents to save. There are still many sons and daughters out there who have not heard of the Dharma. I have to bring this wisdom to them.
Thus, when Master agreed to my proposal to make this video, I proceeded to interview his clients, using Q&A to throw some light into their inner worlds.
I shot almost 95% of the scenes in this video, within the period from January to mid year.
Four challenges I faced in video editing:
(challenges as well as “misfortunes”)
1. This is my first time editing such a large video. From nights to days, it took me 7 months in all (such a slow coach). Halfway through, the inspiration deserted me and i was stuck with plenty of footages and a cramping brain.
2. One minute worth of bilingual subtitles took me an hour in real time, and that does not include the sub-headings.
3. Audio was recorded through the lav microphone I usually use for my Lives. So in post production, I had to sync the audio files with the video files.
4. The interviewees were initially worried that their command of Mandarin may not be good enough. I reassured them that with my razor-sharp editing, they will be sprouting very fluent Mandarin onscreen.
Shifu is right. One must think thrice before speaking. (cries)
5. I spent at least 500 hours in editing. Come, laugh at me.
Morale of the story: using a MacBook Air for large video files burns my youth.
The original plan was to launch this video after Chinese New Year, if not for a short period of illness that befell on me.
I then postponed it to the Qing Ming Festival. However, my Root Guru's audio book project took precedence.
I told myself it had to be on Mother’s Day, since the filial theme was a perfect match. But I overestimated things. I ploughed on, insisting on perfection despite my half-baked video editing skills . As a result, I finally finished it on Halloween Day!
(Ancestors! I finally made it! Let the fireworks out!)
For this project, I disappeared from Facebook for 3 weeks and turned down some clients. This perseverance is not just about not letting others down. It is also about fulfilling my promise to myself.
I share this work, filled with sweat, tears and blood of all involved, to all children who wish to be filial to your parents all the way. May your parents eventually have a peaceful departure from this realm, and a blissful journey to the Western Paradise, and enjoy eternal bliss.
May you too.

방탄소년단《Film out 필름 아웃》 바이올린 커버 | Violin Cover by Lin Tzu An of Film out by BTS

Film out is the ending theme song of the Signal the Movie Cold Case Investigation Unit, the Japanese TV series. Anyone familiar with the KR dramas may relate this one to the KR drama with the same name, which was super famous earlier and it is =]
This JP version was a remake of KR drama "Signal 시그널." The song was written by BTS member Jungkook in collaboration with the lead vocalist of Japanese rock power trio Back Number, Iyori Shimizu.
Cherishing the moment may sound like too old-school or what, now we have to package the story with new concept, like going back to the past with time machine. The one I miss sooo much seems to be standing opposite there, but he is out of reach. When I want to reach out and touch him hug hum, he just disappear away.
I still miss you soooo much. I want to be with you, it is as simple and as complicated as that.
Until then, I'd feel the sun and the wind as if you are holding me.
But now all I can do is have a dream with you where you are with me. It'll be like being there with you in the dream and losing you after waking up. After being repeated again and again every night and day and practicing like this, even there is no such time machine to travel back to the past, I would be good at the days without you after waking up in reality (oh but I would def choose to love you if there were a time machine taking me back to the past).

the story of an hour theme 在 pennyccw Youtube 的最佳解答
Hope you all love this video!
Only Allen Iverson could deliver a Hall of Fame speech that name-checked '90s rappers, referenced "Chappelle's Show" and thanked just about every person he met along his basketball journey. Only Shaquille O'Neal could follow that act with what amounted to a half-hour comedy routine that needled former coaches and teammates and included a soap-opera shout-out.
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame's Class of 2016 lived up to its lofty billing with an epic three-hour induction ceremony Friday night at Springfield's Symphony Hall, with Iverson and O'Neal stealing the show.
Iverson delivered a captivating 31-minute speech in which he overcame initial jitters during a memorable address that featured multiple standing ovations. Fans with No. 3 Iverson jerseys in the balcony cheered throughout.
Dressed in a black suit with a black shirt and tie, Iverson paused repeatedly to collect himself at the start of his speech while thanking his three presenters -- Larry Brown, Julius Erving and John Thompson -- as well as members of his family.
Fighting tears throughout, Iverson thanked former Georgetown coach Thompson "for saving my life."
"[After] the incident happened in high school and all that was taken away ... no other schools would recruit me anymore," Iverson recalled, referencing a racial brawl at a bowling alley that landed him in jail. His conviction in the case was later overturned. "My mom went to Georgetown and begged [Thompson] to give me a chance. And he did."
He said he later left Georgetown only as "an OK basketball player."
"But once I started to listen to Larry Brown and take constructive criticism, I learned how much of a great, great coach that he really is. ... That's when I became an MVP," Iverson said.
In maybe the most memorable moment of his address, Iverson recalled his first time playing against his idol, Michael Jordan.
"Man, I wanted to be like Mike," Iverson said. "I remember the first time I played against him. I walked out on the court and I looked at him. And, for the first time in my life, a human being didn't really look real to me. You know what I mean? I don't know if you all watch the 'Chappelle Show,' but he talked about a certain incident where somebody's seeing Rick James. Like I literally seen his aura. It looked like he was glowing.
"I'm sitting there, and I'm saying, 'Man, that's Michael.' And I'm looking at him. I can't stop looking at him. I'm looking at his shoes, and I'm like, man, he's got on the Jordans! It was my Mike. It was my idol, my hero."
After the Jordan story, Iverson seemed to settle in. Nervously rocking at the start of his speech, he confidently thanked a Rolodex of coaches, owners, teammates and rappers.
"I want to thank Biggie Smalls, Redman, Jadakiss, Tupac and Michael Jackson for being my theme music throughout my career," Iverson said.
Twenty-two minutes into his speech, Iverson said, "The Philly fans," and that elicited a monster reaction from the balcony, which immediately engaged in an "MVP" chant.
Added Iverson: "My relationship with the fans in Philadelphia is like no other. I thank you all for the support over the years. ... You never jumped off the bandwagon, continued to support me like true fans are supposed to."
Iverson also paid tribute to "the ones that stuck by me throughout my journey." He cited "all the barbershop talk that my family had and all the arguments my friends had with people in the barbershop and hair salon.
"Now you can say: 'Well, look, my man is solidified.'"
Iverson closed his speech with a nod to the "guys who are not my friends anymore."
"I'm glad that you blew your cover for me to recognize that you [weren't] any good to my family or me. And I appreciate y'all for that. So if I make any more new friends, I know the signs," he said.
Not to be outdone, O'Neal took the stage for a punchline-filled speech as the final inductee of the night.
O'Neal referenced Luke and Laura from "General Hospital" and joked about his commercial endeavors, including how he sat in a "Buick I knew I couldn't fit in." Drawing laughter, O'Neal added, "Hey, they paid me $3 million. What did you want me to say, no?"
His speech had serious moments, like when he thanked his parents, Phil Harrison and Lucille O'Neal, for giving him the discipline and drive that drove his NBA dream.
"If I know my father, he's up there arguing with Wilt [Chamberlain] that his son is the best big man in the game," O'Neal said.
